By registering for the Canada Greener Homes Grant Homeowners are eligible for pre-and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluations (energy audit) of up to $600, as well as related modifications of up to $5,000. Therefore, under this initiative, applicants are eligible for grants of up to $5,600.
Steps to apply for Greener Homes Grant
Book your Pre-Retrofit Home Energy Audit
To be eligible for the Canada Greener Homes Grant, participants must book their first EnerGuide Home Energy Assessment, conducted by an Energy Advisor registered with Natural Resources Canada, prior to the start of the renovation. If you are live within our service area map, Toronto, York, Durham, Peel, Niagara, Simcoe, and Halton Regions regions, please book your pre-retrofit audit with All Season Inspection prior to upgrading.
Register with Natural Resources Canada & confirm your Greener Homes Initiative
You can register with Natural Resources Canada by phone or through the Greener Homes Initiative web portal.

During registration choose All Season Inspection as your Service Organization.
After registration Natural Resources Canada will inquire us regarding your reservation and we will confirm your pre-retrofit Home Energy Audit reservation created in step 1.
Get Ready for your Home Energy Audit
One of our licensed Energy Advisors will visit your home at your appointment date and will evaluate your house retrofit.
You will receive a comprehensive EnerGuide evaluation report which includes customized recommendations of improvements for your home.
Complete your home retrofits
In order to be eligible for the grant, you will need to complete at least one retrofit upgrade recommended in your report.
Book your Post-Retrofit Evaluation
Once you have completed your renovations, You need to book your Post-Retrofit Evaluation with All Season Inspection before you could begin the grant process and submit all required documents online or by post.
The Post-Retrofit EnerGuide report shows you how much your house’s energy efficiency has improved.
Get ready to receive your Canada Greener Homes Grant reimbursement
The last step is to go to Greener Homes Grant online portal and confirm your grant total.
Natural Resources Canada will send your reimbursement check.
